Critchfield, Critchfield & Johnston, Ltd. is pleased to announce the promotion of Zachary Mathie and Easton Saltsman to the position of member, effective January 1, 2025. This promotion reflects their exceptional contributions to the firm and commitment to delivering outstanding legal services to clients.
Zachary Mathie, based in the firm’s Millersburg office, specializes in real estate, estate planning, and general corporate matters. With extensive experience assisting local businesses and property owners, Zachary has built a strong reputation for guiding clients through various transactional needs, including selling and purchasing real estate and businesses. He graduated magna cum laude from Capital University Law School and earned his undergraduate degree in History from The College of Wooster. Zachary is also a licensed Ohio Title Insurance Agent. Active in the Holmes County community, he has served on various Boards, including those of Holmes Community Housing, Inc., Holmes County Habitat for Humanity, Inc., and Lynn Hope Industries, Inc. Zachary also served on the Holmes County Economic Development Council and was a graduate of Leadership Holmes County, Class of 2019.
Easton Saltsman, a member of Critchfield’s Medina office, specializes in corporate transactions, non-profits, mergers and acquisitions, and general corporate matters. He has built a strong reputation for navigating complex deals and is dedicated to helping clients achieve their business goals. With extensive experience in transactional business across various industries, Easton works closely with clients to provide tailored legal solutions that meet their unique needs. Easton’s ability to anticipate challenges and devise effective strategies ensures that his clients can confidently navigate the complexities of their transactions. Easton earned his J.D. from George Mason University School of Law (cum laude) and his undergraduate degree, magna cum laude, from Hillsdale College. Outside the office, Easton sits on the Associate Board of LifeAct and the Board of Main Street Medina.
