Dan Calvin focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, real estate, entity formation, dissolution, and succession planning, and other transactional matters.
Dan provides guidance to local companies and entrepreneurs on the purchase and sale of existing businesses, as well as the formation and dissolution of corporations, limited liability companies, and other entities. Dan assists clients as they navigate the complex issues that arise in transactions of all sizes and in a number of industries, including retail, health care, professional services, manufacturing, agricultural, and foodservice.
In conjunction with his work on business matters, Dan offers comprehensive real estate representation to clients engaged in the purchase, sale, and lease of both residential and commercial properties. He offers an integrated approach, assisting clients through all phases of property acquisition and sale, including title insurance, financing, land use, and zoning issues.
Dan is also an integral part of the firm’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Heartland Title Agency. In his work with Heartland, he serves as both attorney and title agent, collaborating with a number of realtors, buyers, sellers, and lenders throughout Ohio, completing title and closing services for residential and commercial real estate transactions.
