Critchfield, Critchfield & Johnston is pleased to announce that Member Sarah Baker is the 2019 recipient of the ATHENA Young Professional Award.
The award is presented annually by the Wayne County Women’s Network in conjunction with a number of sponsors. The award honors emerging women leaders who demonstrate excellence, creativity and initiative in their business or profession.
Sarah engages in a broad practice at Critchfield, providing clients with legal services related to estate planning, employment law and litigation, as well as commercial and insurance issues and creditors’ rights.
Actively engaged in the Wooster community, Sarah is a member of the Wooster Rotary Club (having previously served on its Board of Directors) and the Advisory Board for the Foundation for Hospital Art. She previously served on the Wayne and Holmes County United Way allocation committee and as a member of the Board of Directors for the Wooster YMCA. She is a dedicated member of First Presbyterian Church, currently serving on their Resource Development Ministry team and has served as President of the Montessori School of Wooster’s School Board for the past two years.
Professionally, Sarah is a member of the American, Ohio and Wayne County Bar Associations. She earned her law degree from the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, her M.A. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from the University of Akron and her B.S. from Baldwin-Wallace College.
