Bookkeeper – Wooster

Critchfield, Critchfield & Johnston, Ltd. seeks a dependable team player with a strong work ethic to handle billing and accounts payable in its Wooster, Ohio office. 

Responsibilities

The billing process entails collecting client information, tracking and recording billable hours, preparing client invoices, and addressing billing inquiries.  Accounts payable responsibilities include processing vendor invoices, ensuring timely payments, and reconciling bank accounts. This position will also handle other related accounting tasks as assigned.

General Requirements

Qualified applicants must be detail-oriented and have excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.  Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with strong data entry skills, is essential. 

Education and Experience

An associate degree in Accounting or a related field is required, as well as 3 or more years of previous experience.
