We confidently provide end-to-end representation for our real estate development clients, from acquisition and development financing, through construction, construction financing, leasing and management, and on to final disposition. Critchfield’s team will also investigate and navigate complex incentive programs, manage zoning and land use approvals, and oversee interactions with local governments and quasi-public economic development entities.
If oil, gas or other mineral rights are involved, our experienced team offers extensive services, including examinations of various public records, mineral certificates of title and drilling opinions of title. We also work with individual property owners to negotiate oil and gas and other mineral leases and to resolve disputes when they arise.
As a further convenience to our clients, we maintain an in-house title agency, Heartland Title Agency, LLC. Through Heartland, we provide our clients access to public records searches, title insurance policies, and real estate settlement services for real estate transactions within Ohio. Thirteen of our real estate attorneys are also licensed Ohio title insurance agents, each of whom is available to Heartland’s clients throughout the course of each and every transaction to manage the process, answer questions, and resolve any issues that arise.
